The final day of Al-Tazkiya 2019 came with mixed feelings in the air, on the one hand there was excitement in anticipation of Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri’s final lecture and, on the other hand, there was a sense of sadness that it will all be over in a few hours.
Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri presented her second talk titled Steadfastness and Motivation for MQI. How can we maintain our Dawah commitments? She discussed what motivation is and how to remain motivated when working for the mission. When working for the mission, you enter with your body, your physical outer self, and you also enter with your Ruh, your inner soul.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Greece) arranged 24th International Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference in Ethens. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri delivered his keynote speech. Arsalan Khurram Cheema, president MQI (Greece), presided over the programme. All the arrangements for the even were completed under the supervision of MQI (Greece) Secretary General Ghulam Abbas Mustafavi.
Day 2 of al-Tazkiya began with Tahajjud prayer followed by a faith refreshing session of Halqa-e-Durood and Fajr prayer. Sister Rosina Nawaz held her first yoga session of the retreat bright and early to get sisters ready for the busy day ahead. Dr Ghazala met sisters from the Midlands, South, and Scotland and got to know every attendee. The sisters were very pleased and honoured that Dr Ghazala took the time out to get to meet everyone.
Congratulating the workers, associates and the members of Minhaj-ul-Quran International throughout the world, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said the heinous agenda to link Islam with terrorism has been defeated. He said the organization rejected the biased and misleading agenda of defaming Islam by lumping it with terrorism in the light of the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunna.
Minhaj Sisters UK organizes Al-Tazkiya Camp each year for developing and enhancing spirituality and faith among the participating sisters through the company of Dr. Ghazala Hassan Qadri. The camp is attended by sisters from across the UK. It serves as a means to gain the nearness of Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and inculcates the feeling of sisterhood and helps in the spiritual uplift of the attendees.
Addressing on the subject of spiritualism, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said there are three stages of spiritualism, namely knowledge, morality and third stage being gnosis and understanding of reality. He said the followers of spiritualism can also be divided into three categories. Scholars base their acceptance of spiritualism on their vast reading and scholarship of the subject.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League (MYL) has announced to launch a countrywide membership campaign, which will continue for a month. The membership camps will be set up from the union council level to the PP level. These camps will be staffed by the central, provincial and district leaders of MYL where they would answer the questions of the visiting youth. The door-to-door drive has also been planned for the membership.
National Students Convention was arranged in Lahore on the occasion of the 25th foundation day of Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM). A large number of students from different colleges and universities from across Lahore attended the Convention. Central, provincial, district and Tehsil level leaders including MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, and MSM president Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf attended the programme.
The monthly spiritual gathering was held at the central secretariat under the banner of MQI on October 5. In addition to Engineer Rafique Najam, Jawad Hamid, Syed Musharraf Ali Shah, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Allama Imdadullah Khan, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Allama Muhammad Latif Madani, the residents of Gosha-e-Durood and a large number of people from different parts of Lahore attended the gathering.

In connection with the private complaint in Model Town case being heard by an anti-terrorism court, complainant Jawad Hamid recorded an important statement in the courtroom yesterday. He said Rana Sanaullah admitted before an inquiry tribunal that a sub-committee had been formed in connection with the planned arrival of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, which was meeting on a daily basis.
Renowned religious scholars Javed Ahmad Ghamidi called on Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at his residence in Canada. They exchanged views on matters of mutual interest during the meeting. Various scholarly topics came under discussion. Javed Ghamidi appreciated the scholarly contributions and services of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.
The leaders of MQI Mirpur chapter donated medicines to District Headquarters Hospital on the instructions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. These medicines are for the poor patients who were injured in the earthquake that struck AJK and parts of the country last week. Dr Farooq Noor, who is medical superintendent of the DHQ, received the medicines.
Minhaj Women League (Murree) organized Sayyida Zaynab (salamuLlahi ‘alayha) Conference at Murree Art Council, which was attended by hundreds of women from all walks of life. Central President Minhaj Women League Mrs. Farah Naz was the keynote speaker of the conference and numerous well known and influential ladies were invited were the guests of honour on the occasion.
