A prayer ceremony was organized as part of celebrations marking the 69th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at the central secretariat after Isha prayers on Feb 19. MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the ceremony. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attended the programme through video link. It consisted of recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat and singing of Qawwalis. Renowned Qawwal Sher Ali & Mehr Ali performed on the occasion and mesmerized the audience with his melodious voice.
Merit scholarships were presented to 19 male and female students on their excellent academic performance on the occasion of the 69th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Three staff members from the Minhaj University Lahore were also awarded three Umra tickets through a draw.

The Quaid Day ceremonies marking the 69th birthday celebrations of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continue under the banner of Bazm-e-Minhaj, COSIS. A quiz competition between the male and female students by the name of 'Shaykh-ul-Islam Quiz' was held on February 18, which was presided over by MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.

Zonal Head (MWL) Central Punjab Ayesha Mubashir spoke at the national conference organized by the government of Punjab at Faisal Auditorium, University of Faisalabad today. The conference was entitled as "Together we are for Pakistan". Ayesha Mubashir strongly presented the peace ideology of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and the role of Minhaj-ul-Quran in practically implementing the ideology worldwide.

A ceremony marking the 69th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held at the Farid-i-Millat Research Institute. MQI President Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the ceremony as a special guest, whereas the researchers and the staff members of FMRi including Shaykh Abdul Aziz Dabbagh, Muhammad Farooq Rana and Noorullah Siddiqui participated in the event.
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said it has been our uniform and consistent demand and appeal for the last five years that a fair and neutral investigation should be carried out into the Model Town tragedy. To date, this demand has not been accepted. He said it is with an impartial investigation that the process of justice will be put back on track. He asked as to why the impartial probe is not being allowed.

He said the institutions set up by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri are the hub of service to humanity without any discrimination.
Various Norwegian professionals and graduates from different educational institutes of Minhaj- ul-Quran called on Dr Hassan Mohi-ud- Din Qadri, Chairman of Minhaj-ul-Quran International's Supreme Council. Speaking to them, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that only the experts in science, medicine and information technology could revolutionize the existing pathetic conditions of Pakistan as well as the Muslim world.
