Sahibzada Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri has completed his Master's in International Relations with distinction. He was awarded the degree in a convocation held under the banner of London School of Economics the other day. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed his extreme pleasure on his grandson's academic achievement and congratulated him on the completion of his degree with such a good grade. He prayed for his bright and prosperous future.

Minhaj Youth League Hong Kong organized a Drug Prevention Workshop on Sunday, 12th December, 2021. The aim of the workshop was to educate the ethnic minority youth and raise their and their parents' awareness on various aspects related to the drug abuse. The program was attended by a large number of people. The workshop was organized in collaboration with various law enforcement agencies in Hong Kong, which include the Hong Kong Police Force, Hong Kong Customs & Excise Department, Hong Kong Correctional Services Department, and the Society of Rehabilitation & Crime Prevention of Hong Kong.
Addressing a Seerat-un-Nabi (pbuh) Conference, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the heads of entire humanity have hung in shame over to the Sialkot incident. He said that every individual is duty bound, after this tragedy, to play their role for the eradication of extremism, conservatism and ignorance from society. He said that the State of Pakistan should take lead in the endeavours to achieve these lofty national goals. He said that education is a precious wealth of man without which there is no future of any society and nation.
The next on the itinerary of the MWL delegation during their Balochistan tour was a visit to Government College Sibi. A Mahfil-e-Milad (pbuh) was arranged in the college. Director Training and Dawah Department, Ms. Sahr Ambreen, made a statement on the teachings of 'Sahabiyat' of the Holy Prophet (pubh) and the responsibility of women in the present age.
Three-day teacher training workshop has started under the banner of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan. Hundreds of teachers belonging to over 200 religious seminaries attended the workshop. The educational experts delivered lectures on the most effective and modern ways of teachings on the first day of the workshop. They emphasized the need for bringing about changes in the teaching methodology and the use of technology in Madaris. The demonstration of various methods was made before the teachers to help them improve upon their instructional skills.
In his concluding address, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri asked the religious scholars and teachers to teach students about morality and respect in addition to giving them education. He said that difference of opinion does not mean enmity and feuds. He said that the Imams and Muhaddithin used to differ with one another but they did retain a relationship of mutual respect. The difference of opinion in matters of knowledge never spilled over into their personal lives and strained their relationships.
A Milad-un-Nabi (pbuh) ceremony was held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Quetta. Zonal General Secretary Balochistan Ms. Anila Ilyas delivered a talk on the topic of the Holy Prophet's (pbuh) as a guarantor of the protection of the faith. In her speech, she said that ‘Iman’ is nothing but a relationship of love, obedience and reverence with the Holy Prophet (pbuh).
As part of efforts to negate the propaganda in the West against Islam, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, UK chapter, showcased the book ‘A Real Sketch of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’ in the UK Parliament. Lord Wajid Khan along with MP Naz Shah showcased the book authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri highlighting various aspects of the life of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) in a drop-in session of the Parliament. More than 30 parliamentarians joined the session and some of them took to Twitter to share the activity with their followers.
A central delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (MWL) visited Minhaj-ul-Quran Model School in Rara Sham area of district Musakhel in Balochistan province. An introductory session with the school staff was held on the occasion in which Ms. Anila Ilyas gave an introduction of MWL to the participants. Ms. Sehr Ambreen briefed the session about the public speaking courses, Naat and Qirat under the banner of Department of Training and Dawah.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized a training workshop regarding Fahm-e-Deen software in collaboration with the Directorate of Training MQI. The Training workshop was attended in-house by a central executive team of MWL and MWL office-holders from Karachi, Kashmir, KPK, Sindh and Balochistan joined online.
More than 3500 students were awarded with degrees in a convocation held at Minhaj University Lahore. Vice-Chancellor MUL Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad opened the proceedings of the convocation with the permission of Deputy Chairman Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. In his welcome address, he gave a brief introduction of Minhaj University Lahore and threw light on the programmes being offered at the University. He said that ML is listed in the W3 category due to the high quality of education imparted at the university.
Addressing an intellectual gathering at Aiwan-e-Adl on the topic of "The constitution of the State of Madina and its practical enforcement" held under the banner of Lahore Bar Association, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that State of Madina was based on the rule of law and supremacy of justice and peace. He said that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) gave Muslims local government system, provincial autonomy, financial management and justice system.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended a special ceremony held to celebrate the 33rd foundation day of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League and cut the cake. Speaking on the occasion, he said that imparting education and training to the youth is a great national service. He said that MYL's journey of the last 33 years is a journey of knowledge, peace and tolerance. He said that MYL had pledged with Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at the time of its inception that it would not let go of pen and book no matter what the condition, adding that Alhamdulillah, MYL has come good on this commitment with the Quaid.
